i just inhearted this ejercito argentino mod 1927 ser# 44578 can anyone tell me what year it is and is it any good

1948. What you have is the M1911A1 made in Argentina FOR the Argentine military on Colt machinery, under the supervision of Colt when they first started.

Unlike the Ballester-Molina, which really only shares a barrel and mag with a 1911, you could swap out all the parts of yours with a Colt.

nice web sight but its not in english i stop by my local gun shop today im told its a quility 1911 and saft to shoot know if i can only find ammo

The model 1927 Sistema is a damn fine firearm. CA357 has one I drool over!

Yours appears to be in relatively good shape.
