What caliber? Size? officers, full size? Use range, CCW, target? Amount you want to spend 400-4,000?

Since you are a Remington freak, get a Remington R1 Enhanced.

There are several to be had.

If the price is right, I might be convinced to give up a couple.

Is it just me? Is everyone in the forum fairyland a bit grouchy lately? At least it's not a 1911/Glock thread for cryinoutloud!

The good news, remingtonfreak, is that there looks to be a couple of 1911's to choose from. Go get yourself a Rock Island or ATI and blow through a few thousand rounds.....or maybe a few hundred and decide what you like/don't like about it. Then go buy yourself another one....and then another one......and then etc. until you find the perfect fit....or swap out parts. 1911's are a disease and cause a multitude of behavioral disorders. OCD is at the top of the list.

I believe the R1's are a couple of hundred more than the rocks if you would like to keep your freak status. Good luck on your search!

Get her dirty, then clean her so she starts to respect you. When her trust is complete, she will serve you well for a lifetime!
