High Standard 1911A1, around here they go for about $499.
Of course mine has been upgraded a tad.

Another question. Cabelas has so many different companies carrying the 1911. Have you guys heard of Citadel, Cimarron Arms, or Auto-Ordnance?

I switched out the trigger, hammer, hammer sear,slide stop,barrel bushing, firing pin, firing pin stop, added night sights, and put on a beavertail.

Citadel and AO makes good guns. They both are on par w RIA. The ones iv jacked w were anyways.
