Maybe with a nice engraving with black inlays to make it stand out against the slide and frame. But it looks good with that cherry dark wood. Ahhhh the decisions lol

I like wood more. It has a nice warm natural feel to it. But couldn't really decide without the other grips side by side.... Man that's a tough choice

Thanks Hoss. Had a gunsmith friend do the bluing. He's getting pretty old and it takes some work to talk him into doing a job like that. He charged me $90 for a high polish reblue. He's old school!

Thats what i want done to mine but the only one around here that does blueing charges $150 & takes weeks

sdiver, for less $$ you can get into a nice SIG 1911 equal to any of the ones you listed. Myself, Gfrantz, GunRunner, and other have nothing but great success with our SIGs.
