Not the quality of picture that I'm used to post, but I couldn't withstand the temptation of taking this pic with my iPhone of my Colt Gold Cup National Match, although it will still have to stay at the shop where I bought it, until I get my license to own it and take it home, I hope in some three to four months. That's how regulations work over here...

It's the stainless version, tuned by Belgian tuner mr. Baeyens. It has the compensator and a trigger job. Can't wait to take it home! I've test fired it some 50 times and the accuracy is just fantastic

I really underappreciate the fact that as long as I have cash in my Pocket I can Buy and take Home the same day except for things requiring FFL tax as many as I want. I do have a CCL which makes it legal to Buy more than one a month but that just cost me $50 bucks and some time in service

Yes, you have no idea how lucky you are. I've been a gun owner for over 35 years now, and when I started out, I just needed a consent of my local police chief. I went to see him, and came back with a purchase license. So I had the gun in one day.

Since then, laws have gotten more and more restrictive, due to idiots with unlicensed guns making havoc and the public opinion wanting to be done something about that. Politicians then grab their five minutes of fame and come down on us gun owners with new, stricter laws. We're virtually defenseless, because here gun lovers are a very small minority, so we're not even heard. And the press hates us too.

So I wonder every day how long it will take until the government will force me to hand in all my guns, just like they did in the UK. I'm afraid it's just a matter of time until the next nitwit decides to shoot some innocent people in the streets with - of course- his illegal, non-licensed weapons. That would be a financial disaster for me, as I now have 16 guns, and most of them are quite valuable...

What is happening now is that guns with a short barrel (less than 3 inches) are being confiscated. According to our government, guns with such a short barrel cannot be used properly for target shooting and thus have no practical use. I already know several colleague gun-owners who have handed in their snubnosed weapons, without any compensation. That is just awful, and AFAIK also illegal. A local organization, comparable to your NRA,is trying to organize some combined defense now for all these people. But that will cost a lot...

God I hate that for you. Almost like that in a few places here in the states. Fortunately I live in Ky and can almost anything. No limit on how many you can own. Can buy 500 in 1 day if you have the money and no call in with a CCW.
Hell we can own full auto.
