This is my pin shooter. I put it together on an Essex frame 20 odd years ago.

Man, that's cool. I love how the "shooters" look after a period of years. You can't simulate it, either. Kinda like a nice pocket worn case stockman....just hafta use it.

Heh..Noticed two o that pack O' 1911's had the hammers back. Bottom right and second from bottom second from he right. Those two don't spend as much time in the safe?

Yep, you sure can't judge a book by it's cover. I never even bothered to blue the frame.

This one uses G.I. surplus slide and barrel, but has a slew of Wilson and McCormick internals all fitted up by one of the country's top pistolsmiths..

It has the sweetest trigger I've ever pulled. Too bad I can't shoot worth a damn
