Nice job on that. How's she shoot?

Very nice!

Looks like it was worth the wait! Let's see some 1911's - 1911 Forum

I wonder if Fransisco has seen it yet?

I had a chance to go back and look at this gun with the zoom function. WOW, looks like an outstanding re-do!

The upgrades are perfect. The new sights are great, the grip safety and hammer are perfect!

The thumb safety is also a swap that I would have made, and it looks like you stayed with the original slide lock. Good move.

I'm not a fan of solid triggers in today's 'bling world' but you pulled this retro style off with great results!!!

Don't know, nor care what you payed for this transformation but be assured, it was worth every penny!

Let's hope that bad boy is a shooter. That's what all the work was for.

Cane:
Thank you sir. I absolutely positively blame you guys for this.

When I stumbled across this forum, I owned FN's, Glocks, Taurus, etc. I'd NEVER owned or even FIRED a 1911 of any brand, make or model. Ever.

Now I own one. That didn't take long...

Josh

I just saw it yesterday, and I was blown away. In fact it was the last little push I needed to start looking for a nice Sistema for my collection. I wish the Argentine factories were still making guns that good.

Congratulations CA357, it looks like it was well worth the wait. Do you mind if I borrow your pic to share it with some folks over at the Argentine gun forums?
