I just purchased my first 1911, I have been a big fan of the 1911 since I was a kid but I really never had the money to buy one.

I decided to finaly bite the bullet and get an entry level to work up on my own.

I have the pictures and information available on my blog, I wount waste anyones time here until I am able to finish the work on it (which will mostly be done tonight) still waiting on the second package from Brownell's which has the sear, hammer, and trigger in it.

I know I am late to the party but here is my 1911 Colt mfg 1918 and my Kimber Stainless II.
