My only 1911
Here is my essex framed Colt 1911. Everything is original but the frame. Fella I bought this from had tried to juice it up by replacing the trigger, hammer, and beavertail safety. I put everything back to original as best I could but am not able to locate a Colt frame. The rear sight and grips are not original either but...

Thanks! I love guns and my wife is an enabler Actually she is the one that carries the UltraCarry the most. Shoots it in IDPA comp all the time too.

Jay,
How do you like that P220 Platinum, is it a full size (4.4 in barrel)? How does it shoot? I've really got my eye on getting a Sig .45. Been thinking Kimber for a while but the Sigs are very attractive. I also like the P220 Equinox Carry, haven't seen the Platinum in the carry size (3.9 in. barrel).
