I do love my RIA Tactical, and have over 10,000 rounds through it and it is ROCK solid, and reliable.

450 new.

Never fixed it, all I do is clean it and shoot it. It eats ALL ammo too, not finiky at all... for me 450 was a sacrifice, but I just could not pull a grand together supporting my family at any given time.

One day I will own a top end 1911, but to say I am happy with my RIA is an understatement...

I love my RIA. Gun Shop I go to has them for $399. Great shooting gun. For a good entry level choice don't think you can go wrong. Look into it and get you a 1911 and make it happen. Merry Christmas to you from you. HAHAHA

When I married my wife I got a brother in law with her. Since I will not have any member of my family without a gun His Stepfather and I bought him a RI. I did a little work to it mostly springs, polishing and fitting. Put on a nice set of Cocobolo grips on it and 50 rounds of my +P 230gr HPs. gave it to him for his birthday. He shat himself and has since started adding to his collection..

Detonics, MK VI VERY nice. Is that from the old company or the new one? They re-opened about 2 years ago ad their chief gunsmith was a long time smith for S&W.

I have been eye balling one for a long time.

that's an old one, made in Bellevue. Surprisingly accurate little gun.

I'm looking for a way to determine when this gun was made and basically its origin and I thought you guys might know where to start. Any help would be appreciated.
