There is something special about a Colt, Squatch.

I'd never have guessed.

My favorite 1911 is a 65 year old Ithaca M1911A1, a well traveled throughout Europe Ithaca!

Actually...I bought that one as a replacement. My uncle had one stolen while at the range one day. It was the one he carried in WWII.

Try as we might, we couldn't find anyone who saw anything, never did see anyone come close to the range bags, but it was there...then it wasn't

So I searched the WWW and gun mags until I located this one. Had it refurbished and cleaned up the action. From what it did look like to now, it's night and day, specially the action. So here's hoping he likes it.

Slo

My 1911 .45's are mostly Kimbers. But I did add a few more flavors, at least until the flood came through, when the boat sank, and took them all away

I only have one at this point, my 1927 Sistema. I'd love to get my hands on another Dan Wesson CBOB.

I read every page of this thread and loved it.

Here is my Rock, RIA Tactical, I stopped counting at 8000 + rounds. Put another 150 through it today, targets always look the same, and it never jams or has a fuss. Someday I would like to have a high end gun, but I do like my Rock for now... 450 box stock whats not to like...

And the target, 8 shots, reload 8 shots, 9 seconds just under 10 yards...

Glad to be here, looks like a great forum...
