Remington R1 standard model. Love this gun! First 1911 and 45 acp for me. Had it for about 8 months. I carry bit in a blade tech phantom holster.

How does that Springfield ultracompact shoot?

Is there anything they've done to compensate for the size? Recoil spring?

How many in the mag?

Fourth of July at the range, what better way to exercise my 2nd rights. A STI 1911 .45 on the right and a Sig 1911 .45 on the left. My idea of fireworks
And yes, I have a Gadsden grip on both 1911's.

The Ultra Compact has a seven round mag. It has a bushingless bull barrel. I don't know the spring rate in pounds but the recoil is about th same as my Commander. It shoots well and is very controllable.
