Well said, that's one of the perks of the 1911, you can change it from a tactical gun to a fine gun in minutes (where as those silly glock people can't do either )

1963 Gold Cup National Match. It was my dads, he's gone and now it's mine. Got a bit of rust here and there. I use it. A lot. He used it, a lot more than I do. I no longer carry it as primary (H&K compact fills that bill now), but it is ALWAYS nearby. Ya know how old cars doors close with a solid "KER-CHUNK". welp this pistol has that old school chunky built from surplus tank supplies feel.

Just got back into the 1911 game. I LOVE this pistol. 200 rounds trouble-free so far, and I've just had it a couple weeks. I want another one...

Nice RIA Tac Dan, I enjoy taking mine to the range also.

RIA did not offer the VZ grip option when I acquired mine. I am in the process of converting the front sight to a fiber optic.
