Default Lefty thin grips

I'm sure this might have been brought up before but I can't find any info. I'm a southpaw with smaller hands so I'm looking for thin grips with an ambi safety cut, there are a few out there but I'm not a fan of any 1911 grips that aren't black. Does anyone know where I can look that'll have all three in one? Would anyone consider spray painting them? Also while on this issue does anyone have any recommendations on an ambi safety?

Springfield supplies a set of black, ambi-safety thin grips with the Leatham Legend pistol. I'm not sure who makes them, but I put them on my TRP and really like them. You might inquire at SA.

Are these what your looking for???

I use the Navidrex Micartas. Their thin grips are not cut for ambis but it took me about 3 minutes with a Dremel to fit them to the ambis on my Wilson. I did another set for my shooting partner's SAI with Swensons and it took less than 3 minutes.

Navidrex from Brownells.

Find the grips you like and if they are not ambi-cut, just do it!

Get her dirty, then clean her so she starts to respect you. When her trust is complete, she will serve you well for a lifetime!
