Default left handed shooter 1911?

I see 1911s with ambi safeties, but what about magazine ejectors? can they be ambi. or do you have to be just left dedicated? or just deal with the old trigger finger magazine eject drill?

I use my middle finger. I have become so used to it that I had to go get it to see which finger I use. I really wasn't sure. I can reload as fast as a righty when I do it. It doesnt slow me down at all. You will get used to it.

Smith and Alexander has a LH mag release.

Or you could just get a Caspian portsider;

No, not reversed negative photos, a real mirrored 1911.

They are a bit spendy though.

Get her dirty, then clean her so she starts to respect you. When her trust is complete, she will serve you well for a lifetime!

Personally, I just gave up and learned to shoot my 1911's right handed.

Everything else, I still carry left handed though!
