A lot of mfgs say no reloads. It is mostly so they are not liable for damage caused by a bad reload. That said dont ever run lead or plated bullets in a Glock factory barrel.

I use any 45 bullet I can find in my Kimber Tactical Entry and I've never had a single malfunction. I shoot reloads through it and it doesn't care if it's cast lead, hollow point or FMJ. The thing eats anything I load into it.

The only ammo mines had an issue was the unjacketed reloads he bought from Dick's sporting goods, it would fire one or two and jam on extraction, it was just super dirty.. Otherwise it runs on whatever in my exp and to my knowledge
