I have put over 1000 rounds through my kimber and have had zero problems. Full size is usually the best way to go

You have to remember that gun reviews are only the opinions of the person/s that are conducting them. The only real way your gonna know is to own one yourself. I have owned several and still have my Kimber Ultra Carry II and have a Kimber SS Pro Raptor II waiting for me to just pick up. Kimbers are very fine pieces of machinery, but that is only my opinion.

(In addition to a Colt and a Les Baer).

I own two Kimber's and I can see the people's argument when it comes to CS and warranty, but there is no doubt a Kimber is a great gun. The triggers IMHO are second to none and the fit and finish is outstanding. The accuracy cannot overlooked, however that is a trait of all 1911's. I have never looked back or regretted my decision to buy my Kimbers. Does that mean there is no better, nope. Colt's and DW's are great gun's. Don't let anyone make you second guess buying that custom. Below is my custom II and the target that received the first 7 rounds through it. The two fliers are the first two rounds. The next five made a ragged hole. Below that is my HD II. Both are my babies.

Damn fine gun. No need for a life long guarantee if the product lasts a lifetime. I have over 1000 rounds and no issues in my kimber
