It does need a few things. A metal MSH would be all it needs to make it just right!
MSH? What's that stand for?

Main spring housing. Some conpanies use plastic but smith and alexander make the best

I have Both and nothing shoots like a colt. But I like both just fine.

My first 1911 was a Kimber & I haven't been disappointed. I also have a couple of Colts that I'll never sell & I still have a couple Kimbers & Colts on my want list. I don't think you can go wrong with either.

I bought a Kimber Custom TLE RL earlier this year and love it. Almost a 1000 rounds through it and the only failure was due to a case being too long to go into battery all the way. I was shooting Winchester that day I think. Other than that the accuracy is superb. It can definitely outshoot my ability, at least for now. So which model did you choose?
