I like the Springfields but choose the one that feels best in your hand , balances well in hand and you wont have any regrets in your choice

I was in the same boat. After all the online research I've done, I decided to go with Springfield. I've just heard/read more negative things about Kimber. Plus, the Springfield Operator was just too sexy for me to pass up.

You made the better choice for sure.....just gotta ask,did you intend to make your user name a contridiction?

I went to my gun store to look at some 1911.They had a Springfield Armory Trophy Match 1911-A1 .45ACP List price was $1100 -he just put it up for sale $750. I like the gun, felt good in my hand. I put a deposit on it. I saw a few guys on this site, have one. Do you like the gun ?

Well, I love Glocks, and I love 1911s. Have you seen the fake picture of a "Glock 1911" on the Internet? It's pretty funny, I wonder if Glock would make a good 1911.....

750 sounds like a good price. I paid $1149.00 +tax for my MC Operator. It hurt to give the money away but the pain was gone 10 minutes later when I shot it at the range.
