I have a Taurus 1911, I thought it was a great gun... til I shot by buddies Kimber pro carry, more accurate with less barrel, mine jammed (first time) on cheap cheap CHEAP lead ammo, the kimber begged for more, payed $620 for mine and just found out that Bud's gun shop has a Kimber custom II for $700 NIB, I could've cried.
