Hello All,
I,m new to this so please bear with me.
I've been trying out different guns at the range, and like the sights with dots.
I've tried some that were all black and didn't seem to shoot as well.Is there a reason some are all black, and is there a different method to using these ?

No real rhyme or reason. Most pure target shooters like all black sights. Most "combat" sights are the 3 dot variety. Personally, I prefer a dot on the front and a plain black wide notch rear...

Pretty much personal preference on the sights. If you didn't shoot well with the all black, then stay away from them. If the pistol you want hs the all black, but everything else is the way you like it, they can be changed out pretty easily, so no worries. There are a variety of sight combinations out there, keep investigating and trying them out as you can. You'll find the combo that works best for YOU. Mine is a three dot setup with tritium ringed green front and tritium yellow rears. All my carry weapons are set up this way.
