Kimber could have the heavier recoil spring, different sights installed, and all the other bells and whistles. I have a soft spot for DW's. I like them and prefer them over Kimbers, but to get rid of a Kimber to get a DW, well........... If there was a way, I would say keep the Kimber and buy the DW, also. You know what you have now, and at that price for a DW, it sounds like it is used. And you don't know if it has been abused.
