Really nice gun, you have nothing that you need to watch out for, Kimber makes one great gun.

Cool! Thanks for the info and reassurance! I've had a couple Glocks, a 19 I traded for this CDP, yup you read that right, and a 21 was my first gun. I've also had an early XD9 that I loved and wish I hadn't sold and a Ruger P345 that I hated lol this is by far the most refined pistol I've ever handled or shot. I have some long guns that were passed down to me too..

The 1911 is the most enjoyable gun to shoot, as well as being the most reliable and combat effective, great choice
