My Kimber Stainless Custom Series I runs like a dream, has a great fit and finish, eats anything I throw at it, and is accurate as can be... maybe times have changed in regards to Kimber quality, but you can't get me to say anything bad about it.
I have a full size Kimber Stainless II and I absolutely love it. Pretty much everything on it from the factory is match grade, The factory trigger is like butter. The stainless finish allows it to resist most weather conditions that others can't without constant oiling and cleaning. I have put 978rds through my Kimber without one single jam or Feed problem. You really get what you pay for with purchasing a Kimber 1911
