From what I gather from Kimber if it has a II it has the Swartz safety.

SERIES II MODELS
If your Kimber is a Series II firearm, then it is supplied
with an integral firing pin block. This feature does
not allow the firing pin to be active until the Grip
Safety is depressed. THIS ADDED SAFETY
DOES NOT ELIMINATE THE NEED FOR SAFE
AND PROPER GUN HANDLING. READ THIS
OWNERS MANUAL THOROUGHLY.

I have the Classic Stainless Gold Match it does not have the Swartz safety. __________________ “There are hundreds of millions of gun owners in this country, and not one of them will have an accident today.
