I'd find an extended beaver tail so you don't get bit one time shooting it.

Here's mine. I am wanting new grips for it, I just haven't decided what I want. I'm also trying to figure the best holster for it.

Just bought one of the Ruger SR1911's the other day. I'll post pics as soon as I can get them in the pic thread. Was wondering what is the point of the mag well?

I love it, its a great firearm. It has shot anything and everything ive fed it. I started carrying it after I shot it a bunch of times and it carries very well on the hip with my extra mag. Its worth every penny.

It acts like a funnel. It facilitates a quicker reload.
