Default just bought a colt defender 90 series.

Heres a lousy pic. I think it was manufactured in 99.

What can u guys tell me about it?

Ive put bout 150 rounds through it with only one failure to feed. It has the orange follower and appears to have gouged the feed ramp a little.

Are you saying that the orange plastic follower (I presume in the mag) seems to have gouged the feed ramp?

So whats a good magazine to use with this gun? Would like an extended round with some sort of cover for the bottom to make it fit the grip better than just a hunk om magazine hanging out.

Kimber mags work great and dont dink up my feed ramp. I bought this gun used and it is round 14 yrs old. Works great 99% of the time but not knowing how many rounds that have been through it I would like to do a "rebuild" of sorts.

What should I repair/reace when doing a freshn up? I would also like to do a trigger job for a smooth trigger.

Thanks

Send it to a good gunsmith and get a reliability package done. That would include a trigger job and polish the feed ramp. New ceracote finish if you want it to look better. Maybe a round butt job done. The possibilities are endless if you have the money.
