If I were doing it, I'd order the Fusion with the appropriate amount as a deposit, then get the DW during the build. Still have time to save up the rest due on the Fusion before it's built. Just the way I do it - keeps fresh weapons in bound and keeps me from getting to fidgety.

Those are actually red stabilized black ash burl. The only blank I've brought in to this point that I've had colored. It came out well I think. I may try more in the future. I won't stain wood, but if it's got to be stabilized anyway, I guess it's alright.
