Default Just bought another CBOB! WOOHOO!!!

Just picked up a 2009 CBOB from Dave Severns of Severns Custom (pistolsmith extraordinare if you don't know him). I've already got a 2007 CBOB which will be going back to Dave for some customizing. The 2009 is pretty much the whole package and it's pretty hard to imagine improving it.
The list of what I'm wanting done on the 2007 is as follows:
Beadblast finish 100%
Flush and crown barrel
flush slide stop and frame modification to allow this
STI long carbon trigger
Ambi safeties
Anything I'm missing? I'm thinking about making the night sites yellow rear/ green front to match my other carry weapons, but haven't decided yet. The 2009 came that way out of the box. I'm open to suggestions if you guys have any. Probably send it off next week to make sure I don't think of anything else.
Thanks,
Sarge

Sarge, you make me want to puke - as I don't even have 1 CBOB!

Congrats on another exceptional pistol in your collection...

Don't think I take my small collection for granted. I realize that I am blessed. At the moment, noone is shooting at me, and life is good.

If you want a line on one, I know of two different dealers that have them in stock. Just PM me.

Thanks but I was choosing between a CBOB and Colt Commander and just went with the Colt. CBOB's sure are spiffy though...

All I've got right now are some side by sides with the 2007 CBOB for a comparison of features write up. I'll get dedicated photos for tomorrow.

Default Pics

As promised, here are pics of the new 2009 CBOB.
Obligatory side shots

They've corrected the checkering overrun "problem" quite nicely I think.

As you can see, tighter than a bank vault

The business end of things

Of course the match barrel. If you don't know, these things are crazy accurate.

Hope you enjoy the pics,
Sarge

Thanks Meek, they are a beautiful weapon aren't they?
Every time I start looking at an EB Kobra Carry, the CBOB calls my name. EB parts, hand fitting of many of them, etc. I just can't see spending double for the KC. Just me I guess, and maybe I will someday. Once I have a CBOB for every occasion. BTW - I'm NOT bashing the KC in any way shape or form, it's just MY thinking on it. I'm sure others decide differently and that's THEIR decision.
