I have a real fondness for the Ithaca M1911A1's.

My Dad's M1911A1 Ithaca that went from Normandy 1944 to Dachau 1945;

Wow I'm jealous. I want my dad's colt that he inherited from his dad, it has a serial in the 500's. Is it wrong that I wish I could get it a little early, since we don't get along?

If it runs too deep, send me his number and I'll make friends with your pop.

At least this way you'll know it's going to a good home.:)
