Default I'm thrilled!

I finally got to take my new Para 14-45 to the range today and fired 60 shots through it (I'll post I range report, but my photographer/range buddy couldn't join me today). It made my S&W M&P feel like a cheap toy.

I shot a couple of 5 round groups to warm up, and then I tried a full 14 round mag aiming for headshots, it just made one big hole at 10 meters! I'm sure this isn't amazing shooting for experienced pistoleros, but it's quite great for me especially with a brand new gun.

I'm not going to change anything on the gun just yet, I'll put a few hundred rounds through it before I start looking for a new trigger, main spring housing, magazine release and grips (all the plastic's gotta go!).

I'm sooo tempted to sell the M&P and get another 1911... but I need to keep at least one 9mm.

I cut the head off of the target, so I'll put a picture up ASAP.

I spent all my money on ammo and new guns, so I can't afford a new camera.

But I'll borrow one for my next range trip and post a report.

The double stack is a lot thicker than the standard single stack, it fits my hands well because I've got big paws, but I still haven't decided which I like best.

You know Francisco, the 1911 addiction is the only one you can catch from others!

Oh yea, it's also a lifetime affair!

Enjoy the greatest CQB weapon on earth!

Get her dirty, then clean her so she starts to respect you. When her trust is complete, she will serve you well for a lifetime!
