Those Springfield mags do indeed look and feel cheap, but they tend to work quite well.I've got the range officer and the long slide loaded and the mags have never been a problem.

They look, feel, and sound "tinny". But like I said, as long as they work...
I'm glad to hear your's work out, and I've never heard of any major issues with their mags.

I have, however, heard of their front sights flying off occasionally, but that's a risk I was willing to take at that price.

Yes, they pack alot of guns in that little store. Did you have to do a back ground check or just show your permit.

Downsouth, my sis in law is coming up to my mom's from Louisiana, and wants to see us all (she's preggo and emotional), unfortunately the wife has to work, so me and junior are going to head down that way.

And yes, in the great (almost completely) free state of Mississippi, you can bypass the check with your cc permit. Still have to fill out papers for the records though, I think its a fed law that they have to keep records for something like 20 years. I'm not sure on that though, but I know its longer than the standard 7 year guideline that everyone uses for taxes.
