I'll be right back, I am going to try some PDX1.
I usually keep a variety of 230gr FMJ's on hand for plinking, target shooting and Personal Defense.
I saw a box of 230 JHP PDX1 and figured I should give them a try.
Sun finally came out, so I am going to step out to the range and see how they feed in my Kimber.

The PDX1 fed fine. Probably will run more through the Kimber 3" before I switch over tho.
Interesting results. At 15 yards, I broke my spinner, but was able to recover the projectile.
The Jacket parted company with the lead core. Both were sitting right below the spinner.

I was hoping that I would see a better lump of jacket/core, but I suppose a steel spinner wasn't on the FBI testing protocol.
I certainly don't think that I can provide for better testing than the FBI or gun magazines, but I'll have to punch a couple of milk jugs with water and check the results.
