I had Nighthawk build me a gun and came in under the budget you gave. I too want a piece that you don't see in the used gun case. A Talon with a bull barrel and a light rail was the ticket for me. Flawless, if not over the top workmanship, 100% functioning with any ammo, and shoots straight as a laser beam.
I know some Springfield fan is going to say that there is a TRP model like my Nighthawk. Well,,,,, I had it. Even after it was returned to Springfield it was only marginal in function and accuracy.
