That is purdy! I bleve Spittinfire or somebody had a rust issue, but i was thinking it was just the end of the barrel. Not sure.

Nice! I've owned four Kimbers at one time or another, and two of them had the barrel rust issue....although it was more of just kind of a tarnish on the outside.....not the kind of "frosty" rust you some times see. Didn't affect the way the barrel interacted with the bushing at all though.

So the rust issue is only with the barrel and not the frame and slide?

I have had NO rust issues with the Kimber Custom and my body chemistry will rust ANYTHING that'll rust. Glad you got the gun. You are going to really like it.
