Remember, there is a SPECIFIC ORDER in which you must assemble these items to avoid being in violation of BATF RULES!!

First, remove the pistol barrel from your 1911,
then, attach the new rifle barrel,
then, attach the stock.

To disassemble as a rifle,
First, remove the stock, then remove the barrel, then replace the OEM pistol barrel.

DO NOT, under any circumstances, have the pistol barrel and shoulder stock on your 1911 at the same time!!!

Unless you already have a $200 Tax Stamp for that particular SBR (Short Barreled Rifle) and thus are allowed to

When I look at that image, I am reminded of the sequel to the movie "The Fly". Eric Stoltz played the lead character and in the end he used the villain in the film to save himself from mutating into a fly. The villain was transformed into a hideous and deformed creature that was sickening to look at. Kinda like that thing :p

WTF? That's all I got.

I've seen these kits for many, many winters now. I keep thinking it might be handy, but just cannot come up with a concrete reason for having one. When I was young and carried a badge, I thought it might make a suitable carbine device for certain social functions; but I survived without it and don't do that sort of thing anymore.

The Marlin Camp Carbine in .45 ACP also appealed to me. They didn't seem to drum up too much interest, as Marlin no longer makes them. Such is life.

Well, its more fun than a Buntline Special...as its a 1911 semi-auto instead of a single-action revolver ;)

Helps to be a twisted pup...with the occasional villanous Bwah-Hah-Hah!!

Plus it draws those "What the Heck is That??" looks at the range...which about 95% of my firearms collection does exactly that...

The most normal rifle I have is a 1923 Marlin model 37 Slide-action...which still makes Winchester guys go WTHIT?
as Marlin basically made it look like a Winnie with side-eject...
