I placed an order...
for of all things, a SS Taurus 1911 in .38Super. With extra grips for another handgun, my cost was under $580.00.
Range Report to follow.

Been thinking about one myself-
Got a "Sale Mag" from CDNN that has the "loaded Mdl" on sale for $399
Been almost 35 yrs since i had a 38 super (Colt 1911 nickel/engraved I gave a whole $50 for ) but i remember it wasa pretty awesome shooter
Why did'nt i keep THAT one?

One day I will add a 1911 in 38 super to my collection. I look forward to the report.

Congrats Dan. of course we will require photos and a full range report.
I had the opportunity to shoot Jo da plumber's Colt Commander in .38 Super and it was a great experience. I'd love to own a 1911 in that caliber.

The PT1911 in .45 ACP stainless was my first 1911. It was a great-looking pistol and functioned very well. I think you did good, Bro.
