I must be a shifty negotiator because I keep paying retail....... Maybe not, I did get my wife's SP2022 with night sights for like $425 I believe and I knew that was a good deal.

The OP made a wise choice in ditching the MIMber for a true masterpiece, the Sig X series.

There wasnt any reason to change your target you still had numbers showing that you could of shot out! What pistol where you shooting and what was the distance? Nice grouping by the way.

I was re-reading over this post and I dont think I answered this question correctly when I answered it the first time. The pistol was listed at $2600 and I traded my Kimber for $1000 and he gave me 5% for being Law Enforcement and my damage that day was $1600 out the door.

I know that most people would not spend that kind of money on one pistol but it felt perfect in my hands and it was there, I didnt have to order it and wait 12-14 weeks for it from Germany and its not often I expect to see another one at the range on the lane beside me like I see glock after glock after glock.

It also draws a little attention when your shooting and your target is just a little further down the lane than everyone elses and your continuely punching the center out of your targets and people are kind of drawn to see what it is that your shooting. (I may be an attention hoar....lol)

I paid $1600 plus the Kimber for the Sig P220X6. I took a little loss on the Kimber because I think I paid $1450 for that but still getting a $1000 as a trade was good seeing how he was only trying to give me $700 but he and I both knew the retail was $1603 on the Kimber and I thought a $1000 was fair for a quick sale.

I'm sorry you could've bought which gun for $700?
The $1603 Ultra Covert II Kimber?
The $2600 Sig Sauer P220X6
Or the $1070 discontinued Sig Sauer Platinum Elite 1911?

I'm not asking you to Buy any of these but I'm not buying your story on this one.

And your screen name should belong to my Sig Sauer P220X6 because it is The Ultimate Sig........ and I live in Virginia.

That a good looking SIG Gunnrunner! To bad your in VA, a couple of former 101st grunts could have a good day shooting our SIGs.

Honestly, think back to them PFC days at FT. Campbell KY. Did you ever think you'd be able to afford toys like these?

I sure didn't. Don't think Ill be dropping 1600 but I did just see the diamond plate 226 last night. Ive got to contact sig to see if i can buy a slide only to slap on my .40

God Bless the USA!

Tack
