Default I got my first 1911

Went to the gun show today and sold my glock 23 and got lucky to find a guy wanting to sell a brand new Springfield 1911 a1 mill spec stainless so I bought it for 575 new in box never shot. I am feeling pretty good about my purchase since i only had to put a few bucks with the money I got for my glock. I have read some good reviews on this gun but would like to here from some of you on here that have one or shot one. Thanks

I really like the Wilson Combat Elite Tactical mags, Cane also recommends the Trip Research Cobra mags

Great deal sounds like to me mighty fine firearm. Chip McCormick model 14110 have been working real good for me.

I am currently using Pachmayr mags, and they are quite good. The others mentioned above will be fine as well. McCormic probably made the mags that came with the gun.
