I didn't know...

I had heard about the plastic mainspring housing on the Colt CE but I did not know it has a plastic barrel bushing:confused: I ordered a stainless steel serrated arched mainspring housing to replace it, I guess I'll get a stainless steel barrel bushing now.

That's the first time I've heard that. Any pics?

Oops strike that from the record

Well it was late last night... I suspected it might be plastic so I gave it the "Old bite the bullet test" and it felt to be plastic... I have false teeth:rolleyes: so this morning after your response I broke her down and got a magnet... it stuck to the magnet, sooo nevermind it is indeed metal.

Any reason you went with the arched housing instead of flat? Just curious.

It feels good in my my hand, I have a Caspian my brother in law built for me and that's how he built that one... and I like the way it looks.
