Those are pretty sweet. I almost ordered a set but I don't think they come in slim/officer size.

As trip could tell you, those grips were definitely a labor of love. They took much longer than they should have, but I did learn a few things along the way that would have made everything go much faster. The finish is what took so long, but I think I have the hang of it now.

If your interested in some, shoot me a pm. I've still got some pretty wood on hand that I could send you a pic of.

Look into rust bluing if you would like an old fashion bluing like you used to see on high end rifles. It offers the best rust protection and durability of any blue. Takes a lot of time and elbow grease, but does not require a lot of specialized tools. It's something someone could do in their garage pretty easily. That's what I plan on doing to my rifle build if I ever get around to finishing it. (I need to quit going to that dang pawn shop! Too many guns there!)
