Today's pics are of fossilized Coral. It holds some very interesting patterns as it turns and twists all over itself. Pretty cool stuff!
Enjoy,

Just picked up these grips at a gun show. Nothing special and I don't know the brand, but I just like the look on a stainless 1911

Are those dyed wood or a plastic? It's kind of hard to tell from the photo. Definitely catches your eye!
Todays pic is of blue mammoth tooth set in bloodwood. I really like the color combination on this set.
Anyway, a pic of beautiful wood will help start your day off right. Kinda like a bowl of wheaties.
Enjoy,
Sarge

Todays beuaty is brought ot you by Camel bone over Bloodwood. Doing it this way, gives a nice red "frame" to the cream color of the bone and looks quite nice.
Enjoy!

The beauty o' the day is shown through Box elder Burl. I love this wood. It's always so deep with great figure seemingly folding over itself. You could look at this stuff for a long time and still see new things in it.
Enjoy!

I check into this thread every day, and I'm in love with those grips over the bloodwood. Both the buffalo horn and the camel bone...
Now to convince the woman to let me spend a little cash...
