Very close. I had a pair of them and just finished the second one today. They look especially nice on a stainless frame.

Cane's 1911 knife and pistol combo photos have really been a hit. I can't say thanks enough for the incredible photography he did and also the introduction to the 1911 knife. I know the knifemaker and I have seen an increase in sales from Cane's photos. I plan on buying a knife for my old man for Christmas and putting a set of my grips on it for him. Here are some photos from a customer who bought two sets of ironwood grips from me, one for an Ed Brown Executive Carry and another set for an Ed Brown Special Forces. After seeing the 1911 knife, he went out and bought one of those and ordered two more sets of ironwood burl. He sent me these photos:
