These are EMP grips, but still a 1911 platform.
The wood is Black and White Ebony. Always beautiful stuff!
Enjoy,
Sarge

Then don't buy 'em, just enjoy the view.

A great and beautiful set here! This is spalted Afzelia Xylay. The figure of the Xylay, with a grea mix of sapwood and heartwood, with the addition of spalting. I don't come across this too often, and when I do they go quick. At least I still have pictures to share the beauty with everyone.

Can't believe I forgot to post these up here. Madrone Burl with inset and covered medallions. Going on a "heritage weapon" that will be handed down from Father to Son. A real honor to be a part of something like that.

A set that demonstrates the wide diversity of colors and details available in even a small piece of wood. This is Buckeye Burl. It's really just hard to beat the beauty of nature.

I just came across this set of grips. What do you think?

I see it as a good idea but looks a little too Israeli to me.

I think that them sitting crooked on my weapon and making it look funny every time I looked at it would drive me nuts! Surely that's just a bad pic. I hope they dont really do that.
I had someone send me a magwell that slips over the lower bushing and is VERY secure that way. The grip panels have to be modified in the back to allow them to sit flat over the clips, but it's easy on and easy off. I'd never seen those in person before. Pretty cool.

Figured many around here could appreciate these sets and who they're going too.
