I went with a set of black G10 Operator II VZ grips for my 1911 R1 Stainless that are excellent. They had a little more "bite" than I expected when I first installed them but at the range, the bite wasn't noticeable and it was greatly appreciated considering the kick you get from a .45!

I just made this set for my Sig STX. They are an Ivory color, and even have the look and feel of real Ivory. Since it all bust impossible to get real ivory anymore, and even when available it's asininely expensive, I made a few tries and these were the result.

Very nice, not my choice of color scheme but I'm sure you will enjoy it.

I can actually make them any color. Just have to add a little dye. Tell me what color would you pick for this gun? I can do black, brown, green, blue and red. At some point I can probably mix colors, but I need a little more experience with the stuff before I start trying that.

Me personally I would do a deep blue.

Darker than that? The more dye added the deeper the color. imageuploadedbyfirearms-talk1397227487.230909.jpg

Does anyone know who makes these grips? I love them! I think they are pearl but have some blue in it that makes it call my name. Any info on it would be greatly appreciated. Thanksimageuploadedbyfirearms-talk1397227897.125777.jpg
