thats what the vest is supposed to do!!

hp rounds arent designed to expand or penetrate a bp vest. they are designed to mushroom in soft tissue.

I use Hornady in all my pistols; TAP or FXT(sp?). But i do use the 230gr in my 45's and 147gr in my 9mm's. Does anyone disagree and suggest another brand/type?

Hornady TAP is good ammo and I carry the 200 gr and 230 gr +P in my 1911 sometimes. My AR-10 loves the 110 gr 308 TAP. But my regular pistol carry round is Winchester Ranger SXT (T Series) in 9mm (127gr +P+), 357SIG (125 gr), and 45 ACP (230 gr +P). Lots of other great rounds out there, that I've shot and like, but just like the Ranger more. I have found them to be very accurate in every caliber and pistol I've used them in.

i would say thats a damn good vest if it stopped 200 rounds!! they should be replaced after one hit!! but you might post pics of the vest after the shots. would love to see the results.
