You're gong to have be a little more specific as to what kind of holster you'd prefer and what the purpose will be. Any full size 5" 1911 holster will work for your Range Officer. Bigger manufacturers are Bianchi, DeSantis, Galco, and I'm drawing a blank on some others. But any holster designed to fit a standard/government 5" 1911 will fit your gun. Most gun shops will carry bolsters for the standard 1911 as well as big box outdoor retailers and online retailers.

Olympus pretty much named a good portion of the leather holster manufacturers I'm aware of. Some of the others I can think of are Don Hume, Diamond D Custom Leather, and Crossbreed.

I met these guys at a local gun show. They will make a custom holster for you at a reasonable price. Not very pretty but they are extremely comfortable no matter what position you carry.

Safariland holsters are awesome holsters and I believe they offer a variety of leather. Also, cowtown leather based in Ft. Worth, TX make some of the nicest leather holsters you can find...

Check out www.ssholsters.com too. They're also a custom maker, with some pretty decent prices.

There are probably hundreds of custom holster makers. A lot of unique ideas and craftsmanship, but the sacrifice is the wait list to get one.

Default High Noon

I'm a fan of the high noon holsters.

Reasonably prices, about a 2-3 month wait; some are ready anytime.

Very good quality, ride high and tight.

Very comfortable.
