I'm looking for a holster for my government model colt 1911 .22 pistol.
can anyone tell me will this one i've found on ebay suit it?

well the description says it`s for a 1911, so it should fit.

But perhaps have a look out for Fobus holsters. They are not very expencive but should be pretty good.

Cost approx. $ 30,- and is a paddle holster. No need to open or tale off your belt.

NOT IF YOU HAVE A FULL SIZE 1911-22 (bet you do) -- you can do a lot better for 50 bucks IMO

That holster is for a 3" 1911. I don't think anyone is making a compact 1911-22.

You need to look for a holster made for a full-sized "Government" 1911.
