For a great deal on an IWB check out old faithful holster, they make a hybrid kit for less than $50 delivered.

If you don't want to wait 6 months, yea they're that good!

Take a look at Tommy Theis' IWB.

Here in South Florida I like the horsehide model with J-clips.

Whatever you buy, if you have a choice, get the plastic clips. The steel clips will ruin a good gunbelt! My belts cost more than most holsters, I learned the hard way when I got a cross-greed.

I called milt sparks and yes there is a 6 month wait but I think I'm gonna go ahead and order one

There's a milt sparked versa max at my LGS for $75 a pop, they have one for a govt 1911 and a hi-power.

Jstrong is it for a a 4.2 inch barrel?

I just got a couple holsters (including an IWB) from R Grizzle; they're all excellent fit & finish, great retention, and very comfortable.

The wait was ~ couple months, and the price is very good for a custom hand-made holster.
