Yes, I have 3 other 1911's all in .45 cal. This will be my first 1911/2011 in 9mm.

I do believe I will be shooting more 9mm in the future because of the high price of ammo.

So I would try an STI, it may cost more but it's good quality and it will pay for itself on savings on ammo.
